Tutorial: Using a Different Font on Your Blog

Here are some extra fonts that I've put together for you that are different that the ones blogger offers. Just install these fonts the same way you would install a background:
  1. Copy the code (right click in the box and hit "copy")
  2. Sign into blogger and click on "design"
  3. This should take you to your "Page Elements" screen.
  4. Click on "add a gadget" and then chose "HTML/JavaScript.
  5. Paste (right click, then "paste") your code into the "content" box (you can leave the title blank).
  6. Hit "Save" and you're done!

Tutorial: "How to revert back the Minima/Minima Stretch Templates"

Since the launch of Blogger's new "Design" options, I have received many emails from frustrated bloggers who have tried out Blogger's new templates, only to realize that they can't switch back to the Minima and Minima Stretch templates.

Luckily, you CAN switch back to the Minima/Minima Stretch templates, Blogger has just made it tricky to do, unless you know exactly where to look.

  • First you need to get to your Layout Page/Page Elements Page by clicking on "design".

  • Now, look up to the left where it says "Edit Html", click on that and it should take you to the "Backup / Restore Template" page.
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you'll see "Layout Templates (Launched 2006)", click on "Select Layout Template" and it will take you to the old layouts.
  • Pick Minima, or Minima Stretch. You could also pick Minima Lefty or Minima Lefty Stretch.

I hope this helps! I plan on posting more tutorials soon. If you need any more help feel free to leave a comment, or contact me at lilypuffdesigns@gmail.com.
